Bible Survey Old Testament Program
Objectives 
- To teach the basic content of every book in the Old Testament.
- To give students an understanding of the progression of revelation through the Word of God.
- To provide an overview of the different literary genres in Scripture.
The Program
The Old Testament Bible Survey Program is a three-year course with one week of resident work per year. In addition to the one-week modules, students complete various reading assignments and homework.
Bible Survey Program Faculty
Professor Michael Grisanti taught Old Testament Language and Literature at Central Baptist Theological Seminary in 1997. During this time, he also studied at Dallas Theological Seminary, the Institute of Holy Land Studies in Jerusalem, Grace Theological Seminary, Luther Seminary, and the University of Minnesota. In addition to his educational training, Dr. Grisanti has had extensive pastoral experience, serving as an interim pastor, children's pastor, and church planter. He also taught seminary courses and preached on trips to Romania from 1993-96. Dr. Grisanti has written numerous journal and periodical articles and assisted in various editorial projects, including contributions to The New International Dictionary of Old Testament Theology and Exegesis (Zondervan, 1997).
